Paul R. Patrick is the Director for the State of Utah’s Family Health and Preparedness Division. In this role, Mr. Patrick oversees the operation of eight program offices, including the Office of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness. The Division’s program offices work in partnership with Local Health Departments and others in the community to provide effective and efficient programs to the public. Mr. Patrick is a Past President of the National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO). He represents the association as a member on the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council’s (NPSTC) Governing Board, SAFECOM’s Executive Committee, and the Video Quality in Public Safety (VQiPS) Leadership Team. Paul is also a member of SAFECOM. As a longstanding advocate for EMS and public safety communications, Mr. Patrick has been involved with efforts for the nationwide public safety broadband network since its inception. Most recently, he served as the Interim Chair of the FirstNet Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC).
