Jasper N. Bruner serves as Tribal Liaison for the FirstNet Authority. In this role, he is the senior public safety advisor working with first responders from tribal nations across the nation. He is committed to building trusted relationships between tribes and the FirstNet Authority.
Jasper Bruner is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and has 23 years of working in tribal law enforcement for tribes in Oklahoma and Washington. He led the Department of Public Safety and served as the Chief of Police for the Makah Tribes – Neah Bay. He was appointed to represent tribes from Western Washington on the Washington State Emergency Management Council. Jasper is committed to tribal communities and the enforcement of tribal and federal laws. He has experience in grant writing and management, emergency management, and coordination across law enforcement at the local, state, federal, and tribal levels.
