Rasheid Scarlett brings over 25 years of telecommunications and network infrastructure expertise to the FirstNet Authority Board. His extensive experience in mission-critical communications and proven track record of implementing innovative technology solutions make him uniquely qualified to help shape the future of public safety communications.

As founder and CEO of NetAesthetics, Mr. Scarlett leads an IT development and consulting firm that delivers mission-critical network solutions to federal government agencies and private sector clients. Under his leadership, the company has established itself as a trusted partner in developing secure, resilient solutions for high-stakes environments.

Before founding NetAesthetics, Mr. Scarlett held key technical positions at major telecommunications organizations. At Verizon and AT&T, he served as a Network Architect, designing and implementing mission-critical communications systems and spearheading the integration of emerging technologies. At Accenture, he managed complex infrastructure projects for Fortune 500 companies, developing expertise in large-scale system integration.

Mr. Scarlett began his career as a network engineer for the United States Government, where he deployed secure networks to U.S. facilities worldwide. His early experience with critical infrastructure established his deep understanding of public safety communications’ unique challenges.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Scarlett actively promotes diversity in the technology sector through mentorship programs with organizations, including BUILD and Microsoft, helping to develop the next generation of technology leaders. His combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and dedication to public service continues to advance FirstNet's mission and the future of public safety communications
