Building self-resilient emergency communications in the Northern Mariana Islands

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) is a geographically isolated chain of islands, situated 72 hours from any support from the mainland. CNMI public safety agencies built a self-resilient communications system, using FirstNet, for responders to stay connected during those critical first hours.
