Today, Commerce Secretary Raimondo announced the appointment of Renee Gordon to serve on the Board of the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet Authority). The following statement is from FirstNet Authority Board Chairman Stephen Benjamin on the appointment:

Renee is a leader in the field of 911 communications and brings a deep background in public safety operations to the Board with her dual experience as a 911 professional and police officer. The FirstNet Authority thanks Karima Holmes for her service to public safety and her contributions to FirstNet during a key time in the growth and evolution of the nationwide public safety broadband network.”
