U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced the appointment of Tip Osterthaler to serve as Chair of the FirstNet Authority Board. He will succeed Edward Horowitz, who is completing his two-year term as Chair. Horowitz will remain on the Board until his term expires in August 2021.
New York’s first responders are getting a major boost in their wireless communications with the addition of 22 new, purpose-built FirstNet cell sites and other network enhancements.
