Mike served 29 years with the Phoenix Fire Department; his last position there was as the technical services division chief. He was also a member of the National Urban Search and Rescue Incident Support team and a qualified communications unit leader and communications technician instructor. Before he joined the fire department, Mike was an electronics technician in the Navy’s submarine service.
Mike enjoys meeting with first responder groups around the country to explain the unique features of FirstNet, particularly the ability to exchange real-time video and images with other responders. He explains that this enhanced situational awareness will help first responders better prepare and make more informed decisions as they respond to an incident. Guesswork will be a thing of the past.
